Happy Halloween

Yesterday was Halloween here and though the kids don’t really know what Halloween is; we wanted to give them the opportunity to get dressed up and go trick or treating.

Tate was given the option of a couple of things to wear for Halloween but he really didn’t know what to pick or probably why he even had to choose an outfit! So mummy decided for Tate and Knox. They became skeletons! I think Tate was pretty impressed with his costume because I caught lots of peaks at himself in the mirror. I think he also liked mummy referring to him as “Skeleton” instead of Tate.

To start of the Halloween celebrations Tate was able to go to a Halloween party at the gym. It wasn’t hugely different to the normal gym classes – except that the kids and instructors were dressed up and there were a few spooky creatures attached to the roof. The kids also got to take home a treat.

Tate was very funny and he didn’t know what to make of his favourite instructor dressed as Cat in the Hat.

Knox was lucky and the instructor let him join in the party too!

I think Knox makes a great skeleton because he's so skinny!

After a quick dinner for the kids; Tate helped daddy make a scary scene out of wikki stix on the door.

Oooohhhhhh Scary!

Now it was time to head off trick or treating. We tried to get the kids to say trick or treat and even practiced at our door but it was too tricky for Knox and unfortunately Tate just refused!

Just before taking this photo Knox was rifling through his candy giggling at how much he had!

I think we can safely say Tate and Knox had a fun Halloween! Now for mummy and daddy to eat all that chocolate, so they don’t!
