Last Thursday was Thanksgiving here in the US. Given it was just the four of us we decided not to celebrate in a traditional way and instead took the kids out to the Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn. Tate and Knox had a great time looking at all the animals despite the cold and slightly snowy weather.
Here’s a look at their fun day:
As soon as we entered the zoo we were greeted by some Peacocks.

Knox’s favourite animal of the day was the Tamarind Monkeys. They had a lot of exhibits showing different monkeys.
Tate’s favourite was the Sea Lions.
The cuddilng Meerkats were pretty cute!
To our surprise they had a few Aussie animals – Dingoes and Emus!
