Mary Baker Eddy Library and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

After visiting the USS Constitution, Tate got his chance to have a trip on a Boston Train. He was so excited to see what the Boston trains were like. A fair bit different to the NYC ones, but fun nonetheless.

After a quick lunch at a Korean Restaurant we headed to the Mary Baker Eddy Library. Primarily to see the Mapparium. The Mapparium prohibits photos so I can not show you how cool it is. The Mapparium is a three story stained glass globe. It represents the world as it was in 1935. Although they initally planned to change it to match current events, we were told during the tour that they decided to keep it as it was to represent the world as they knew it back then. Tate enjoyed looking at the globe and pointing out places he knows and has been to like the US, Japan, Australia and Hong Kong.

A cool area I was able to photograp though was the Hall of Ideas. This is where we waited for our tour of The Mapparium. Tate and Knox had such fun in the Hall of Ideas. Once you see the photos it wont be hard to guess why!!!!

After enjoying The Mapparium we went to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Again there was limited opportunity to take photos, so I can only show you the courtyard area. Lucky it was the coolest area!

Such gorgeous plant and flowers.
