Children’s Museum of Manhattan

Unfortunately due to being very busy apartment hunting this week we’ve not been able to finish posting about last weekend.

Sunday was pretty cold, miserable and rainy so we decided to go to the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. We certainly weren’t the only ones who had the same idea because it was very busy!

The first floor was focused on the human body. It had a big heart, a face with a tongue slide, information on eating healthy and much more.

The second floor was Dora the Explorer themed. Tate wasn’t particularly interested in the theme, after all he doesn’t even know who Dora the Explorer is, but he did enjoy particular activities.

Another floor was dedicated to activities for babies to four year olds. This included ball activities, fire truck and ambulance, an Art Lab, a talking dragon that eats letters and more!

  1. That tongue slide looks pretty amazing!
On a side note (literally!) half of the photos appear sideways or upside down in the post. However, when I click on them they open up the right way round. Not sure if it looks like this at your end but I have noticed on quite a few posts. The internet does some weird things!

    • Yeah he quite enjoyed it Sally. Had to have one last slide before we left.

Hmm none look upside down or sideways to me but Richard has commented on that. I wonder why? Any ideas. I do my posts on my iPad but i wouldnt think that makes any difference!

  2. I noticed the comment on the picture orientation – it looks fine on my iPad.

The Children’s Museum seems just up Tate’s alley – slides & bridges. Good fun!
