Let’s recap (part 2)

My last post showed some of the fun we had while my parents were here, but there is more!

On the last weekend we went to the Dragon Boat Festival in Corona Park. It was a very big event with thousands of people there, not only to participate but to check out the action.

It was very difficult to get a good photo of the boats racing each other!

After we’d finished there we headed to the World’s Fair building. This held the 1939-40 New York World’s Fair. Over 44 million people attended the World’s Fair exhibits in 2 seasons.

Next to the building is the Fountain of Planets built for the 1939-40 World’s Fair.

And here are some random cute photos of Tate for your enjoyment:

Now that my parents have gone (we will miss you heaps!). It’s time to tackle being a stay at home mum of two kids! Nobody will be around to take Tate out so I can have a nap while Knox is sleeping or occupy Tate while I’m feeding Knox. It’ll be interesting to see how it all goes! Stay tuned……
