Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, spending the day with those that they love. Here in NYC we had a very quiet day, just the four of us. Our first Christmas on our own and in NYC. Here is a look at our day.

After breakfast we started opening presents. Tate doesn’t yet understand Christmas Day and Santa but he knew that there had been presents under the tree for a few days and that he had to wait to open them. So as soon as he was told it was present time he was there, ready to get started. Tate was in charge of distribution, so he would read the names on each present and hand it out accordingly. No presents went to the wrong person. What a smart chookie!

We then enjoyed a yummy roast lunch with an afternoon tea of Christmas pudding. I was very glad I managed to find. It wouldn’t be Christmas without Christmas pudding, that’s for sure!
