A visitor!

Recently we had a wonderful visit from Richard’s sister Jessica. We were all very excited that she was coming to visit and Tate loved counting down the days and also checking out when she was visiting on our calendar.

The day Jess arrived we had a snow storm. Although it caused delays for Jess’s landing in New York, it did mean that we could take Jess to see Central Park in the snow and to do some sledding. Tate was hoping he would be able to go sledding with Aunty Jess!

Next stop was Central Park Zoo. While Knox napped in the pram; Tate, Richard and Jess warmed up in the tropical zone. A perfect place to go on a very cold winter day. After that we checked out the snow leopards and the new grizzly bear exhibit. They also checked out the penguins but Knox was still asleep in the pram so Knox and I walked around outside while we waited.

Because of the snow, the snow leopard was out in all its glory!

After heading to our favourite Japanese restaurant, as per Tate’s request, we headed to the MOMA to indulge in lots of art.

Tate decided this was his favourite!
