Happy 2nd Birthday Knox!!!

A few weeks ago it was Knox’s second birthday! Such a grown up boy! Unfortunately given my broken foot and recovery from foot surgery; I have been a bit lazy about getting the blog posts done about his birthday.

To start off with I will write about his birthday party.

Knox was lucky enough to have his birthday on the weekend this year, so was able to have his party on his actual birthday. Unfortunately though, he wasn’t lucky enough to have a nice summer day, so we had to relocate the party to the apartment after checking the weather forecast that morning.

Before everyone arrived Knox opened one of his birthday presents from us - a car playmat that all his friends could play on.

We decided to make Knox’s birthday theme about cars, as they are his favourite toys right now. His birthday invitation had a cool race track on it, so we based his party theme around that.

Knox absolutely loved his birthday cake! He made short work of his big piece!
