It sounds funny to do a two part Christmas post, but it makes perfect sense to us. That is exactly what happened in our household! Or at least, the opening up of Christmas presents took two days!
To start off Christmas Day the kids checkout out the advent calendar above the Christmas Tree. What did they find? Blelf the Elf on the Shelf sitting in number 5 waiting to say good bye and a present for each of them from Santa in number 25!
After they checked the advent calendar Tate had decided that we were going to open our presents one at a time: Mummy first, then Daddy, then Knox and lastly Tate. A lovely idea which meant after two rounds I had finished and after the third round so had Richard.
Both Tate And Knox decided to have a break from opening presents and had a bath to play with their Gups. By the time they had finished it was time to get ready and head to our Christmas Lunch with our friends. Thank you Anton, Aurelia, Daniela and Sam for a super yummy Christmas lunch. It is safe to say we all had full bellies for the entire night!
Once we got home it was time to Skype with family and open some more Christmas presents. Tate and Knox saved a few of the presents they got from Jamma, Jampa, Auntie Tahnee, Nana Gill and Nana Audrey and Papa Neale to open while they Skyped with Jamma and Jampa.
What a very lovely post. I was thrilled to see how much both boys enjoyed their remote cars.
We’re having a two part Christmas again this year. The girls had a few presents from us and Santa in San Diego and then they’ll find the rest under our tree when we get home in a few days. I’m guessing we’ll also find a huge pile of pine needles too as the tree hasn’t been watered since we left last Monday!
We really will end up with a third part as we know there is a package still on the way from Australia!!!
